  1. Every year on 7 April, World Health Day is celebrated to bring global attention to a specific health issue that impacts people worldwide. The day also marks the anniversary of the founding of the World Health Organisation (WHO).The World Health Day 2023 theme is “Health For All”. 
  2. The United Nations’ International Day of Reflection on the Genocide in Rwanda is annually observed across the globe on 7 April to honour the memory of the victims of the 1994 genocide against Tutsi, Hutu and others who opposed it in Rwanda.
  3. The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) has won the 13th edition of the All India Police Commando Competition (AIPCC) 2023, organized by the National Security Guard (NSG).
  4. The Indian National Space Promotion and Authorization Centre (IN-SPACe) has established a new state-of-the-art Space Systems Design Lab to enable space sector start-ups to transform their innovative ideas into implementable models at a faster pace at its headquarters in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

  9. Georgia Assembly in USA on 2 April, 2023 passed a resolution that condemns Hinduphobia and anti-Hindu bigotry, making it the first state in America to take such legislative action.   
  10. Mumbai city will soon get at least 50 food trucks that would function round the clock across all seven zones in the city.
  11. Russian tennis star Daniil Medvedev claimed his fourth title of the year by defeating Jannik Sinner in a closely-contested final match in Miami Opens 2023.
